"no compression" will make for HUGE files, fyi. Under "Video" you can go to "compression" and change the format it captures your video in. then under "device" choose your capture card. You can try Virtualdub - It can recompress video, cut/crop, and also capture video from other devices. Did you want to record what was on the screen (like clicking around on the desktop)?
